18 Year Old UK Producer Iglooghost Signs To Brainfeeder

The next release from Flying Lotus‘s consistently surprising Brainfeeder label will be a 4-track digital-only EP from 18 year old UK producer Iglooghost. The EP is titled Chinese Nü Yr and will be released on October 30th. Iglooghost already has several releases to his name, including the Yoteghost Milk Empire rap album – a collaboration with Mr Yote released as a giant pink helium balloon with a download code via Activia Benz. He has also contributed to Fly High Society’s Space Bus Vol.1 and The Astral Plane’s Heterotopia series.

“The EP is a story about a gelatinous worm-shaped creature who wears a witch hat called xiāngjiāo,” explains Iglooghost. “He/she is really sad because his/her existence consists of infinitely being blasted through endless wormholes into different worlds that don’t make any sense – full of floating fruit and pink mist. He/she has a voice played by my little sister but sometimes my dad. He/she is perennially sad and terrified because it doesn’t make any sense why he/she was randomly born into this existence, but he/she is also shit scared because being shot at light speed through wormholes is probably f**king terrifying.”
