808 Documentary To Premiere In London At 8:08 PM On 08/08

A documentary based on the infamous 808 drum machine will be premiered in London at 8:08 PM.

The film will feature artists that have explored the 808 over the years. From the hip hop corner will be Bambaataa, Rick Rubin, and Hank Shocklee, whilst the use of the 808 in dance and indie music will be discussed by Goldie, A Guy Called Gerald, and Todd Terry, Damon Albarn and Talking Heads’ Chris Frantz. 

The film’s producer, Arthur Baker, will be hosting at the screening at BFI Southbank.
