After tease announcement, Björk reveals ‘The Gate’

A few weeks ago via Twitter, Björk announced a single-sided limited-edition vinyl to be released on September 22nd.

Now, days before the official release, Björk has revealed the first single ‘The Gate‘ from an unnamed forthcoming album. The album will feature production credits from Arca and Rabit, and will be released sometime in November via One Little Indian.

Björk had this to say: “‘The Gate‘ is essentially a love song, but I say ‘love‘ in a more transcendent way. Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that’s even greater. It’s about rediscovering love—but in a spiritual way, for lack of a better word.“
