Amsterdam Dance Event announces first wave of artists

ADE, the renowned Amsterdam Dance Event, has recently revealed the initial lineup of artists scheduled to perform at its 2023 showcase. Taking place from October 18 to October 22, this event will encompass a diverse range of electronic genres and subcultures, with over 1000 events happening at more than 200 locations throughout Amsterdam.

Organised by the Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation in close collaboration with its founding partner Buma, ADE has evolved into the world’s largest festival and business gathering for electronic music. It boasts representation from various subgenres within the electronic music scene and offers a dedicated conference and Arts & Culture program.

As always, DJs and performances will be spread across the city, with a detailed program structure expected in the coming months. ADE promises a “bolder, spicier, and larger than ever” experience, with an enhanced festival atmosphere for all attendees. Among the first wave of artists confirmed are French soulful house producer Folamour, Bicep, and Bonobo. Also joining the lineup is LSDXOXO. The Berlin based New York City DJ has gained a substantial following with their genre-blending performances, attracting ravers to his renowned Floorgasm club night.

Other notable acts include Chris Stussy from the Netherlands, Amelie Lens from Belgium, DIØN representing Amsterdam, and the Italo disco sensations Nu Genea. Additionally, ADE has recently announced the inclusion of audio-visual and musical performances as part of its conference program. London-based producer Max Cooper will host an immersive masterclass and audio-visual show, exploring the intersection of science, music, and art.

Furthermore, the event will feature the return of Secret Artists in Residence, a concept that brings together unique artistic collaborations and live studio jam sessions, exclusively for ADE pro visitors this year.
