BADBADNOTGOOD announce IV, release ‘Time Moves Slow’

Canadian band BADBADNOTGOOD have announced their upcoming record IV. With confirmed collaborations with Mick Jenkins, Kaytranada, Colin Stetson, and Charlotte Day Wilson, the LP will be a continuation of their jazz-infused experimental hip hop beats.

To announce the news, the band has teamed up with Zane Lowe and Beats 1 Radio to drop ‘Time Moves Slowly,’ a drippy beat that pairs perfectly with Future Islands frontman Sam Herring. Old school aesthetic reigns strong in the piece, and the title of the song is correct- time really does feel slower, as if we’ve sunk into petroleum jelly and can’t quite get out. The song is tinged with BADBADNOTGOOD’s signature jazz overtone however, and the result is a piece that is bound to please a whole range of different music fans. If this song is any indication, this album will be a guaranteed critical success.
