Beyond The Wizards Sleeve releases visuals for ‘Creation’
Richard Norris and Erol Alkan comprise Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, and they’ve been releasing miscellaneous remixes for a better part of a decade now. Until recently, there was no news about any full length projects, but that’s all about to change. To prepare for The Soft Bounce, their upcoming debut album with a yet-to-be-announced release date, they’ve dropped a bizarre video for “Creation.”
Featuring the vocals of Jane Weaver and Hannah Peel, the song is psychedelic in its core, meshing static synths with serene, almost incomprehensible lyrics from the two singers. Even the visuals, which are black and white, bring a haunting touch to the track, focusing on two dancers. The concept for all of this is simple- the outcome is decidedly less so. The video is actually the third in a 5 part series called And So To Sleep by critically acclaimed director Kieran Evans
Watch the video below. They’ve recently done an interview for the release of this video. Read it in full via Dazed.
