Breaking UK Producer EVM128 Streams Debut ‘Nova’ Via XLR8R

London based producer EVM128 aka Luke Meads is streaming his debut album Nova in full at XLR8R. The album, named after Meads’s daughter, is released this weekend by Studio Rockers.

Originally from Bristol, Meads later moved to London where he became a regular at Plastic People’s Co-Op club night and Cherry Jam. He takes influence from the broken beat scene established in the 1990s by IG Culture, Bugz In The Attic and 4Hero et al, with additional flavours from UK garage, funk, nu-jazz and deep house. Guests on the album include Evermean, Olmo Cassiba, Daiva, Shyone, and Brit soul veteran Omar.
