Cofounder of Born Free Records, DJ Sling, announces debut solo release

Daniel Isling, aka, DJ Sling, has his first EP coming out in October.

The four-track EP, titled The Secret, creates a narrative of melancholic lifelines of house tracks. A first on his own, Daniel Isling’s background is set upon his connections to the party scene in Stockholm, where he’s played and put on events since 2001. WIth a history of a few releases and remixes—he’s predominantly focused on collaborative effects, with either Samo DJ (as Sling & Samo and Hound Love) or towLie (as Empfänger).

The Secret will be the 30th release on Born Free, the label Isling operates alongside Samo and DJ City. T

Born Free is a record label, club night and collaborative platform based in Stockholm. In anticipation of the upcoming EP, here’s a recent DJ Sling mix for the Rush Hour Store, titled Community Pool Dweller.

Born Free Records will release The Secret on 19 October 2017.
