Dauwd’s Debut Album “Theory Of Colours” to Be Released Via Ninja Tune’s Technicolour Imprint.

Theory Of Colours, the debut album by Berlin-based Dauwd Al Hilali is set to be released via Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint on June 2nd 2017.

A member of the Berlin night and radio show African Acid Is The Future, the US-born, Wales-raised artist is no stranger to the electronic music scene. Having previously released music on labels such as Ghostly International and Kompakt, Dauwd has spent the last few years out of the limelight and in his studio, carefully crafting this intricate offering.

The album was recorded over the period of a year at Utrecht based Sonar Traffic studio, which houses one of the largest collections of vintage synths and other modular equipment in Europe.

The result is an “intricate, scintillating journey that hovers between familiar and strange” and will no doubt live up to the anticipation surrounding the album’s release.
