David Bowie unveils ‘Blackstar’

The pioneer of all things art, music and weird, David Bowie is back with the 10-minute video to ‘Blackstar’.  The title track from his new album set for release 8^th January is directed by one of the most respected and sort after directors of music video, Johan Renck (Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey).  As well as music video, Renck has also directed episodes of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Bates Motel and the 2015 Sky Atlantic heist drama The Last Panthers (where Blackstar is also the theme).

‘Blackstar’ begins in a space-like world and proceeds to feature a haunting blindfolded Bowie, a dead astronaut, a tailed female, a convulsing dance routine, living, blindfolded scarecrows and much much more.  Watch the video for ‘Blackstar’ below.
