Deerhunter announce tour and lineup change
Deerhunter have announced they will play two intimate New York-area shows before departing on a European tour in May. The band will be debuting both new songs and a new line-up. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 9th March at 10AM EST.
Work has begun on a new album, with a single expected in mid-Summer. The band’s last release was 2015’s Fading Frontier.
Fading Frontier, Deerhunter’s seventh studio album, was released in 2015 and reunited the band with Ben H. Allen, the same producer who helmed recordings for their acclaimed 2010 record Halcyon Digest. With contributions from Broadcast’s James Cargill and Tim Gane from Stereolab, Fading Frontier wowed critics, and featured heavily in end of year polls at The Guardian, NME, MOJO and Uncut.
