Elephants Everywhere provide intoxicating pop single
Los Angeles duo Elephants Everywhere have released another shimmering pop single, ‘Numb’ featuring the vocals of Las Vegas born singer Kaylie Foster (aka FOSTER). The single follows the release of ‘Give Me Love’, which featured the vocals of songstress ELSIE BAY and first caught our attention earlier this year. You can read our full feature on the single here. It was around this time that Elephants Everywhere found themselves signed to the Unique Vibes imprint, which reaches over 4 million subscribers on a regular basis with their tastemaker Youtube channel.
‘Numb’ cements the choice of artist with label, as the stirring pop track mixes heartfelt lyrics with a vibrant bassline. Written by Emily Falvey, the single presents the relatable elements of heartbreak in a beautifully bitter, yet intoxicating sound. Kaylie Foster is also in the process of releasing new music, having just recently shared her debut single, ‘Top Of My Game’. It’s clear John Shekerjian and Sean Bartoshuk, childhood friends and founders of Elephants Everywhere, have a talent for finding rising singer-songwriters. It’s safe to say, we’ll be keeping tabs on the two moving forward to see what other unique artists are on their radar.
The two tell us about the creation of their latest single: “The main idea of “Numb”, was brought to life through a jam session we had very early on in quarantine of 2020 in Los Angeles. Once we had a few good parts written, we recorded them in Ableton and started producing the rest of the track around those main elements. As fans of both organic and electronic music, we love combining real instruments with electronic elements to create something completely new from our original acoustic jam session.
