Fabric wins its appeal against Islington Council
Fabric nightclub has won its appeal against Islington Council. The Council voted in favour of introducing a range of restrictive and controlling conditions on the venue in 2014. These licensing conditions have been pending since last December and, if fully enforced, would have meant the venue introducing sniffer dogs on the door and all customers having their ID’s scanned. In fact, the London house and techno club did trial the ID scanning for a short time, but Friday’s decision means that none of these restrictions will now be enforced.
