Fatima Al Qadiri releases “Battery” off her upcoming album ‘Brute’

Fatima Al Qadiri largely focused on releasing work as part of Future Brown in 2015, but she’s revealed that she’s gearing up to release Brute on March 4th, and with that promptly dropped a song titled “Battery.” Like much of her previous work, dark ethereal sounds emerge from the clouds to reveal Qadiri’s distinct sound and showcase her ability to display emotion, while still remaining in in full control of every movement the song makes. “Battery” only seems to be the top of the iceberg of what Brute has to offer, and March 4th can’t come soon enough.

Brute will be out via Hyperdub.
