First New Material From Horsepower Productions’ Benny Ill In 5 Years

Benny Ill of influential production duo Horsepower Productions has returned with his first 12″ in five years, as reported by RA.

The new material will be released on Loefah’s Swamp81 label on September 11 with a 12″ titled Swamp91 featuring two mixes of the same track. Ill’s last release was a collaborative 12″ with J. King on Mala‘s Deep Medi label in 2010.

Horsepower Productions are known for their experimental approach to garage which influenced the development of dubstep and grime.
