First peak at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris
The 8th edition of Pitchfork Music Festival Paris will take place on 1, 2 & 3 November 2018 at the Grande Halle de la Villette. Get ready for 3 days of heady musical action this Autumn in Paris!
Since 2011, the festival has made the Grande Halle de la Villette its home, right in the heart of Paris’ 19th arrondissement. Spread over 3 days, the festival offers music lovers a bold line-up that’s like no other, showcasing the best of the international indie scene.
Scheduled to perform, Bon Iver, whose beautiful melodies and delicately written songs we all know and love so well; the extravagant and unconventional Fever Ray, aka Karin Dreijer Andersson (one half of Swedish duo The Knife), who’s back with Plunge, her first album in 8 years; oddball eternal teenager Mac DeMarco brings his happy-go-lucky fragility; and finally, Devonté Hynes’ most indie-funk, R&B-pop alter-ego Blood Orange will be there, with his hotly anticipated new album up his sleeve.
Since 2016, Pitchfork Paris has spread its musical wings with Pitchfork Avant Garde. Spanning Paris’ Bastille neighbourhood, come discover the new indie guard over two nights of music, on 30 & 31 October.
Pitchfork Music Festival Paris is produced by Super Parisian booking and events agency, producing tours for French and International artists – and the American media Pitchfork.
