Flying Lotus scores new film by Eddie Alcazar
Flying Lotus is a man with endless creativity. From his last album You’re Dead (and all of the albums leading up to it), his live show, Captain Murphy, and his collaborative work with people like Kendrick Lamar, the LA-based producer never seems to stop working and creating something new for his fans to listen.
This time around, we’re treated to a short film that Flylo has scored for Eddie Alcazar’s FUCKKKYOUUU. The score is epic and breathtaking, while still maintaining a dark, cerebral edge; even if the viewer had no prior knowledge the artist was involved, the unique touch he brings helps give away that this is Flying Lotus in command. Shot in black and white, the movie is dense, thick with gore and nudity, so don’t watch this while you’re working.
