Four Tet making waves with New Energy

Back in July, English electronic producer Kieran Hebden better known as Four Tet mentioned in a tweet that he would be releasing his new album this year.  Two months later we hear the fruits of his labour in his recently released album New Energy, which came out on September 29th via Text Records.

Hebden hasn’t released an album in two years but he has been busy with a string of remixes for artists such as Rihanna, Jamie xx and Oneohtrix Point Never. He also released a ‘name your price’ compilation entitled Randoms which included 9  previously released tracks from the producer.

Marking Hebden’s fourth album as Four Tet, New Energy follows his 2015 Morning/Evening making it his 9th album overall.  The 14-track LP includes previously released singles ‘Scientists‘, ‘Two Thousand and Seventeen‘, ‘Planet‘, and ‘SW9 9SL‘.
