Four Tet releases coded singles ahead of New Energy

Four Tet has released two new singles post-New Energy, Hebden’s groundbreaking 2017 return New Energy.

Titled with some kind of coded language that only Hebden himself could unravel, scattered info and code has been tweeted by Four Tet leading up to the release, which is now available via Spotify. The two singles, dubbed ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ؞ৢ؞ؖ, proves to sound similar in nature to Four Tet’s latest LP New Energy. A few tracks titled )✧⃛* were released earlier this year have been uploaded to a mysterious Bandcamp profile reportedly based in Brunei, a tiny nation on the island of Borneo.
