Geoff Barrow’s Beak> Score ‘Couple In A Hole’

Bristol trio BEAK> aka Geoff Barrow (Portishead, DROKK, Quakers), Matt Loveridge (MXLX, Gnar Hest, Fairhorns) and Billy Fuller (Robert Plant) have composed the soundtrack for Belgian filmmaker Tom Geens‘s debut feature film Couple In A Hole.

The film follows a middle-aged couple who reject civilization to live in a cave in the woods. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last month and has picked up a clutch of awards already. Geoff Barrow said of the collaboration: “It was a total pleasure to work with Tom on his film,” said Geoff Barrow, “and it’s also been great to have so many people support a film that is as unusual and uncompromising as this.” The film screens at the BFI London Film Festival on October 10th and 11th. The film and its soundtrack are scheduled for general release in April 2016.
