Groovin to Reissue Peven Everett’s “Put Your Back Into It”

Ten years after its original release, Italian label Groovin Recordings will be issuing a repress of of Peven Everett’s “Put Your Back Into It.”

The official reissue replicates the track listing of the original pressing, including the original B-side, a remix from NYC producer Quentin Harris.

The news of the repress has been met with mixed feelings from fans, some of whom pointed out that part of the novelty of the original album lies in it’s rarity. Everett attempted to raise the funds for a reissue in 2015 through a Kickstarter campaign, which was unfortunately unsuccessful. He more recently made headlines for his appearance on the new Gorillaz album Humanz.
