Hieroglyphic Being’s ‘The Acid Documents’ Receives Official Release

Soul Jazz Records launches its new electronic music imprint Sounds Of The Universe with the first of two new albums by visionary Chicago DJ, producer and sound artist Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being.

The Acid Documents is comprised of tracks first issued in a limited edition of 100 homemade CD-Rs made exclusively for London’s Sounds Of The Universe shop. This album now receives its official release in an edition of 1000 copies on coloured 2LP, CD and digital download, fully remastered with artwork by Japanese artist 2Yang. The vinyl version of The Acid Documents is released on October 30th with the CD to follow on November 13th.

The second Hieroglyphic Being album on the new label, under the pseudonym Africans With Mainframes, will be released via Sounds Of The Universe in January 2016.
