Hyperdub’s Ikonika slows down Junior Boys’ “Over It” in new remix

While the Junior Boys’s original “Over It” was two parts brilliant pop-influenced writing with a superb indie edge that everyone, including your less music-obsessed friends, would love, Hyperdub producer Ikonika knows how to slow it down, syrup it up, and bring a spin entirely of her own that brings a whole new air to the piece.

With slight influences of DJ Screw’s darker element shrouding the edges of this otherwise light-sounding song. The Junior Boys are calling this their favorite remix thus far and we can’t help but agree.
