Jamie xx Scored Ballet Debuts In Manchester

Different to the dance music you would usually expect from him, Jamie xx has scored the soundtrack to the ballet, ‘Tree of Codes‘, which premiered at the Manchester International Festival.

Choreographed by Wayne McGregor, Tree of Codes, is performed by dancers from both The Paris Opera Ballet and McGregor’s Random Dance Company.

Work from Björk and FKA Twigs is also due to feature at Biennial Arts Festival, taking place in venues across Manchester between July 2-19.
