Laurel Halo To Release New Album “Dust” Via Hyperdub
Following her 2015 double EP In Situ, Laurel Halo returns with her third album Dust, to be released through Hyperdub on June 23rd.
Featuring collaborations with Julia Holter, Craig Clouse of $hit and $hine, Eli Keszler, Max D, Michael Beharie and Diamond Terrifier, the album was recorded over two years at EMPAC (Experimental Media And Performing Arts Center) in Troy, New York.
According to the press release, Laurel’s “omnivorous influences play out in mutated fashion – coalesced, unfettered and inclusive – a broad musical palette free from entrenched modes, catalysed by digital production that could only happen in 2017.”
