New York-based techno producer Nicolas Jaar has unveiled a new side-project titled A.A.L (Against All Logic)

Released via his own imprint Other People, A.A.L’s debut album titled 2012-2017 was quietly dropped last week, February 17th, and has quickly become a favourite among listeners and fans alike. Since Jaar’s last solo album, Sirens, the producer has been experimenting with timbre and texture rather than the familiar dance-friendly sound he has become known for, and it seems Jaar’s latest side-project A.A.L seems to be the perfect entity for this very endeavour.
