M.I.A releases new video for track ‘Babylon’

Rapper M.I.A has shared a music video for a new song called Babylon. The track and full video is available exclusively on her website ohmni.com. This follows the announcement that her 2010 mixtape Vicki Leekx will be auctioned as an NFT. Babylon meanwhile is also available as an NFT.

M.I.A has been openly exploring the potential of NFTs for artists, having launched a series of NFT exhibitions earlier this year. NFT GARAGE DANCE and KALA COYN included work made as far back as 1996. Speaking on the exhibitions, M.I.A stated, “Visually, it’s a mind f*ck and embodies everything I’ve loved about the digital art arena. It’s only now that the appropriate gallery for my work finally exists.”
