Music producer Jacob Olofsson launches new project Olovson

Branching away from his mainstream success forming part of Grammy-award winning duo Jarami, composer Jacob Olofsson has released his first solo single under the new moniker Olovson. Taking on this new production style Olovson explores the musician’s neo-classical and ambient music production palette. Olovson has shared his single ‘Books Are Flying’ via his imprint 1136 Diamond. This newly released song is a delicate and fragrant masterpiece that grows on you instantly.

Before taking this bold direction, the music producer worked alongside the likes of globally renowned musicians like Frank Ocean, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Diplo and Silk City. As Olovson, Jacob unveils a new layer as an artist and proves that he can be a jack of many trades. ‘Books Are Flying’ is a textured yet poised piece of music that transcends space and time.

Olovson shares: “This music is the most transparent body of work I’ve created. It is very liberating to be able to elaborate with tempo, harmony and even dissonance. Everything becomes very fluent when it’s just me and the piano.
