Nathan Fake Returns With Release From Ninja Tune
After a two-year hiatus, Nathan Fake is back and set to release his fourth album Providence via Ninja Tunes on the 10th March 2017.
It is being hailed as his most personal and profoundly emotional work to date. Crafted in the wake of a crippling two-year spell of writer’s block, the British producer describes his latest offering as “a massive step up both in my career and in my life in general… it felt like I’d come alive again.”
Fake will be collaborating with vocalists for the first time in his career on Providence, namely Prurient (aka Vatican Shadow) and Raphaelle Standell-Preston from Braids, both of whom he met while on tour (in Geneva and Osaka, respectively).
Fake will tour heavily in support of the album, taking in Australia, Europe and Asia through March, April and May 2017, with a brand-new solo live show featuring visuals by the esteemed Matt Bateman, who has previously worked with likes of Jon Hopkins as well as LFO.
