NEWS: The XX Announce Residency at Brixton Academy

The xx’s forthcoming series of sets begins on March 8th. The band will play seven shows at O2 Brixton Academy in support of their third album, I See You.

The tour, which is expected to sell out, consists of a string of dates and will set a record for the longest runninh show at the South London venue. The first date is Wednesday, March 8th, and they’ll play every night from then until Wednesday, March 15th, with the exception of a day off on the 12th. The announcement arrives two weeks after official details surfaced about the trio’s latest album, which is due out on January 13th, 2017.
