British producer Palmistry has unveiled previously unreleased music by him and late producer, SOPHIE. The friends’ collaboration is dubbed ‘Sophistry.’ The two tracks, OFC and The Worst Boy Band In The World, appear as a part of Palmistry’s recent mix for FACT magazine.

The tracks are quintessentially SOPHIE, whose distinct production style can instantly be recognised. Both songs appear sequentially at the end of Palmistry’s mix. A sample of SOPHIE speaking can also be heard, as the artist chats about the process of conceptualising sounds. FACT magazine confirms that the two Sophistry tracks were worked on not long before SOPHIE’s death in January.

Palmistry, real name Benjy Keating, recently released his album wyrdo. The album continues his exploration into ‘outsider’ music, hybridised avant-pop that keys in on the alienation of being othered.
