We caught up with him to get some insight into what the new year has in store.
Set the tone for us. Where would you say Cuebrick is creatively at the moment?
At the moment, I am experimenting with a wide range of music genres. As many of my long-time followers know, my roots are in progressive house, which explains my affinity for melodies and vocals. Currently, I am trying to infuse this feeling into other genres.

What sort of things are inspiring the current direction of your sound?
Currently, I am very inspired by more underground music styles, like techno. However, I am also working on a different kind of fusion, about which I don’t want to reveal too much just yet – stay excited 😉

You were recently listed as one of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs in the world. Congratulations! How does such an accolade shape the direction of your new year?
I also want to take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to all the fans who voted for me. This award is a great honor and opens up more opportunities for me to showcase my music globally. I am immensely grateful for this and excited for a 2024 filled with new clubs and venues where I have yet to perform.
