As well as arranging the strings for Lenny Kravitz last 6 albums and performing with him on CNN Heroes. In addition, Baron mixed a new song with The Lumineers for the Game of Thrones Soundtrack.
Originally hailing from Woodstock, New York, David Baron proves that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as his musical roots stem from that of his father, Aaron Baron, who is responsible for recording various legends such as BB King, The Allman Brothers Band, Blue Oyster Cult and Barbara Streisand on a list of many more. Baron studied classical violin and piano before becoming a classical pianist at Oberlin Conservatory and then making the switch to a technical major focused on electronic music and composition.
For ‘People of No Concern’ Baron turned to the talents of 11-year-old Madeleine, who is a singer, guitarist and gymnast, as well as singer-songwriter/composer Lettie who has since 2008 released 3 albums with Baron. The single is a webwork of melody, strung together by the sweetest keys acting as the backdrop for both Lettie & Madeleine who both deliver delicate and breathy yet strong vocals best compared to Hayley Wiliams of Paramore.
