Set the tone for us. Why the arts?

For the love and passion for music.

Which comes first when you’re producing – the sound or the idea?

The soul.

What’s on your current playlist?

Stephan Bodzin.

Tell us about the chemistry you have with your fans on stage.

For me, the most important thing is the connection and empathy I try to create every single time with the audience. The fact that my set is completely LIVE (no computer, no DJ) and analogue to the purest form allows me to have an unmatched freedom of creation.

How are you prepping for your set at TIMELESS fest?

As I explained before my sets come very naturally. I’ve played many festivals and I know very well how to connect with the crowd. I have my melodies and ideas on the journey I want to take with the crowd, but I leave a lot of space for improvisation.

Which of your songs should festival goers put on their ‘TIMELESS’ playlist?

I particularly like 2 of my songs from my latest album, Shamanica: 1) Moonlight Invasion” and 2) Shamanica”. but the best thing is if they go on my Youtube channel @tribalneed where they can watch my live performance (going viral).

Imagine you’re a festival goer. Do you rough it in a tent or glamp in luxury?

Love both, depending on the situation. I like to play at the same level as my audience. I was invited to Saudi Arabia in December… you know there is Luxury. I was in Goa 2 weeks ago, a tent is perfect.

What one thing MUST you absolutely have with you on stage?

My Analog Synth from 1984: Roland Juno-106.

Breakdown the news for us: what can we expect from you this year?

My YouTube channel is lately going viral and I get tons of requests all over the world. I think touring extensively will be my priority this year.

Famous last words?

“When everything is a machine, the human will come back.”
