Quality Goods Records releases sixth annual compilation, features Polar Youth

High-calibre record label Quality Goods Records has recently unveiled its sixth compilation QGRC-006. With it, the label continues its tradition of releasing an annual compilation wherein they provide budding artists the opportunity to stand beside established musical talent. “As part of our mission, we aim to bring attention to artists who are waiting for a wider audience to discover them,” they said. “The QGR family is always proud to grow & expand and we hope our community loves this new collection”.

Having expanded from LA to France, the imprint is set on releasing a diverse range of genres from Trap, to Melodic bass, Dubstep, UKG, and House. And those are just a few. With a strong underground feel, their latest offering illustrates the imprint’s grasp of potential and ear for well-produced tracks. Speaking of which, Polar Youth spearheads the project’s debut with her high-energy record ‘You Say’.

Polar Youth has been making headway in the UK Garage scene for some time now, having won a Red Bull Elektropedia award in 2014 and appearing in notable magazines such as Vice and Complex to mention the most recognised names on the list. With darker bass sounds dominating the overall sonic aesthetic, her record is the bow on the proverbial wrapping, being the final feature on the compilation.
