Death From Above 1979 | One + One | Universal Music Canada
‘4 Lovers’ Album Release Date: 26 March, 2021
Canadian alternative-rock duo Death From Above 1979 have released a playful, energetic single alongside an official music video entitled ‘One + One’. This comes as the first single off their upcoming album ‘4 Lovers’ approaches, set to be released via Universal Music Canada. on March 26th.
Powerful bursts of distortion and a lively, boisterous beat open ‘One + One’ as the electrifying rhythmic guitar drives the track forward; the uptempo pace ripe with provocative energy and a genuine, inherent sense of joy and the fond reminiscence in the lyrics and vocals.
The compelling psychedelic-rock aura is bold and bright as the track progresses, gradually increasing in speed as the highly bewitching percussive frenzy and luminous guitar sculpt an wonderfully immersive track with the shining personality of the band making for a unique take on the genre. The sheer sense of danceable fun embedded within this track makes us exceptionally nostalgic for when we were still able to attend live shows and concerts. Hopefully, one day again soon.
