English musician Tom Jenkinson – known, most notably as Squarepusher – hardly needs an introduction; and with the upcoming release of his first album in five years –  the iconic producer has fans reeling with anticipation when it comes to the return of his celebrated approach to electronic music. Squarepusher has long been known for breaking the boundaries of typical genre labels by incorporating a myriad of sounds into his music; IDM studded with frantic drum & bass, hints and vibrant hues of the experimental (and the complexities of jazz) all with a distinct charisma – provide enticing new experiences with each offering, and with the release of his second single ‘Nervelevers’ from ‘Be Up A Hello’ (releasing via WARP on January 31st) Jenkinson once again demonstrates his hypnotizing skill; and with much excitement, sees the producer return to the signature analog sound he crafted back in the 90’s.

‘Nervelevers‘ radiates a controlled chaos; a complex psychedelia saturated with neon bliss; vicious drum and bass swirls into an ecstatic alien dance – a hypersonic warp punctuated with frantic glitch. Reminiscent of powering through Space Invaders, to the darkest depths of pixelated galaxies – rapid beats strike as lighting and extraterrestrial synthesiser bullets pierce a cosmic empire; filled with a pumping adrenaline, stellar intensity and a blinding vibrancy glimmering with impeccable boisterous fun.
