Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred Again.. Play pop-up set in Times Square

After their previously announced headlining show at Madison Square Garden sold out in minutes, Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred Again.. surprised fans with a b2b2b set played from a converted school bus in the centre of Times Square.

The pop-up set drew hundreds of onlookers in Times Square, while the show was streamed online via The Lot Radio

The hour-long set quickly went viral online for a specific moment during which Four Tet dropped the grinding dubstep track COUNTRY RIDDIM by HOL!, only to be rewinded on the jog wheel by Fred Again… Many on Twitter have dubbed it “the worst wheel up of all time,” while others joked that Four Tet was “trolling Skrillex.”

The trio’s headlining show later that night saw them play through a five hour long set. The set featured remixes of pop songs by Taylor Swift and Destiny’s Child, as well as Skrillex standards such as Bangarang.

It’s been a big week for Skrillex, who released his sophomore album Quest For Fire on Friday. He then surprised dropped another album, Don’t Get Too Close, during the show at Madison Square Garden.
