Surgeon Schedules Album Recorded In Hawaiian Jungle

UK techno producer Anthony Child aka Surgeon is to release an album recorded on the Hawaiian island of Maui via the Editions Mego label, report FACT.

Recorded in Haiku-Pauwela, Maui in January and February of this year, Editions Mego describe Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol. 1 as an “exercise in concentration and trance,” adding that “you can sense the thick, humid air and deep colours of the surrounding resonating in the pastose synth lines.”

Child, whose recordings as Surgeon have made him an influential figure on the UK techno scene, unexpectedly joined Lady Gaga on her #ARTRAVE tour last December, when he was invited to collaborate with the pop star’s regular tour support Lady Starlight.

Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol. 1 is released on November 13.
