The Prodigy ‘Light Up The Sky’ with dark new single and video
Written by Maya-Rose Torrão
The Prodigy have just dropped the second single from their upcoming album, ‘No Tourists’, a track titled ‘Light Up The Sky’. The new album is the legendary electronic-rock-rave group’s seventh studio album and is slated for release on November 2.
The UK rave-rockers shared the first single of ‘No Tourists’ back in July, ‘Need Some1’, a raucous, high-octane track that showcased all of the signature fuzz and techno-infused ferocity of The Prodigy and giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the new album release.
‘Light Up The Sky’ gives us fresh The Prodigy energy, with wild repetitive guitar riffs and aggressive funk vocals. While the new single has an undoubtedly contemporary flair, it still tips a hat to early The Prodigy tracks, giving us 90’s rave vibrations with a modern edge.
The Prodigy has also announced an extensive winter tour, which you can see dates for below.
