The Return Of Massive Attack: European Tour & New Material
Influential UK outfit Massive Attack will return for a 22-date European tour starting in January 2016 in support of their first new material since 2009.
The group, who emerged from Bristol bass collective The Wild Bunch and whose core members are Daddy G and 3D, have exterted a huge influence on UK bass music – and popular music in general – since the 1991 release of their now classic debut album Blue Lines. In the early 1990s they were closely associated with such like-minded Bristol based originals as Tricky, Portishead and Smith & Mighty.
The lengthy list of artists Massive Attack have collaborated with includes Madonna, Burial, Sinead O’Connor, Damon Albarn, Horace Andy and Mad Professor.
