TP Mix #127 – Elijah Nang
Elijah Nang aka Audio of Eli is an Audio Novelist and visualiser based in London, United Kingdom.
In his music, you will find a frequent homage to East Asian culture and his sound crafts a new niche in the lofi hip-hop genre, a mixture of electronica with Japanese influences, something he often refers to as japtronica.
Elijah listened to a lot of music like Grime and House growing up, then he transitioned to Hip-hop, Jazz and Ambient. Artists like Fat Jon, Nujabes, Jdilla, and Bob, plus a few composers, have helped him carve a unique sound for himself.
